What if you could pause in any moment-whether you're anxious, angry, uncertain, or overwhelmed-and respond the way Jesus would?

In a world filled with noise, division, and decision fatigue, The Jesus Filter offers something refreshingly simple and profoundly transformative: a spiritual tool to help you process everyday life through the life and teachings of Jesus.

This book is not a theological deep dive or a traditional devotional-it’s a practical guide and reference you can return to again and again. Whether you’re navigating conflict, carrying grief, questioning your purpose, or struggling with comparison, each chapter helps you run your real-
life emotions, decisions, and dilemmas through the filter of Christ.

Author Rick Weaver invites readers into an honest, accessible, and grace-filled journey toward spiritual clarity. Rick writes from a deeply personal place-one shaped by seasons of questioning, growth, and redemption. He understands what it feels like to wrestle with fear, to seek identity, to long for belonging, and to want a faith that holds up in everyday life.

The story of

Rick Weaver

Rick Weaver is a devoted follower of Jesus whose life has been shaped by both deep questions and hard-won clarity. With over four decades of experience teaching, coaching, and walking alongside others in both their professional and spiritual journeys, Rick brings to this work not only knowledge but lived compassion.

He is a speaker, facilitator, and spiritual guide—but more than anything, he is a fellow seeker, continually learning how to let the love and teachings of Christ transform the everyday. Rick’s journey has never fit neatly into religious boxes. As a gay Christian, he has experienced firsthand what it means to wrestle with identity, faith, and belonging. His story is one of redemption, not in spite of his story, but through it. He was raised in the Methodist church and felt the pull toward ministry early in life, even considering the path to seminary. Yet, through prayer and discernment, he recognized that God was calling him to serve outside the walls of traditional ministry—where he could live and love fully, authentically, and in alignment with the calling God placed on his life: to teach.
